Opportunities on Get Connected

Get Connected aims to offer a wide variety of roles which reflect what happens in sport!

These will range from helping a school run a school sports day, being part of the event crew at an international sporting event or helping an amateur sports club raising funds for a new kit. You don't need to be sporty to volunteer in sport; you don't even have to like sport! There are so many opportunities that don't involve going anywhere near a sports hall or muddy field; some don't even require you to leave your home!

Get Connected works by matching your volunteer profile with opportunities and will return results by location, type of opportunities or your availability. If you enter very specific information into your volunteer profile you may find that you have to be more flexible and travel a little further than you originally wanted to. Alternatively, if you just want to get involved then you can be quite open and let the system do the work for you!

Once you have completed your volunteer profile Get Connected will generate opportunities. You can then select which you want to go ahead with.

Get Connected will continue to generate matches to your profile of new or short term opportunities which match your profile tbc.
